Linkage between YJK and ArchiCAD models 2.1 Interface between ArchiCAD and Grasshopper As another software with superior performance in the field of three-dimensional collaborative design in recent years, Archicad has gradually been favored by more and more architects and engineers in recent years.The interface between Archicad and Grasshopper is a newly added function of Graphicsoft in Archicad24.When Archicad and Rhino are installed at the same time, we only need to install the connection plug-in provided by Archicad to achieve real-time linkage between Archicad and grasshopper.

After installing the plug-in, the GrasshopperConnection command will appear under the file menu bar of archicad.Click this command to start the connection between Grasshopper and Archicad. After passing the YJK data to grasshopper, we can parse the relevant curve and section data, create the battery of the column through Archicad, and create the column object in Archicad.
